Prof Abiola Sanni

Prof. Abiola Sanni

Abiola Sanni is a highly accomplished legal professional and esteemed academic who specializes in
Arbitration, Taxation, and Commercial Law. As a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a Professor of
Commercial Law at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), his expertise and experience in providing
consultancy services in these areas are unparalleled.
With a career spanning over two decades, Abiola Sanni has made significant contributions to the
field of law and academia. He began his teaching career at Obafemi Awolowo University in 1991
before transferring to UNILAG in 1999. In 2003, he was awarded the prestigious Fulbright
Fellowship, during which he conducted research as a Research Fellow of the Institute of International
Law and Policy at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA.
Abiola Sanni holds a Doctorate degree in Commercial Law (Taxation) from the University of Lagos
and was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2013. In 2016, he achieved the remarkable distinction of being appointed as a Professor of Commercial Law and the occupier of a Professorial Chair endowed by Lagos State in the University of Lagos for the Advancement of Taxation and Fiscal Matters. This remarkable accomplishment has earned him the title of "a Double Professor."
In addition to his academic contributions, Abiola Sanni has authored and edited several influential publications in the field of law. He is the editor of
Introduction to Nigerian Legal Methods, widely known as "The Blue Bible" in Nigerian universities and the West African subregion. He is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Nigerian Revenue Law Reports (NRLR) and African Tax Law Reports (ATLR), the first law reports on tax cases in Nigeria and Africa, respectively.
Abiola Sanni's expertise and influence extend beyond the academic sphere. He is actively involved in professional organizations and committees, serving in various capacities for the Federal Government of Nigeria. He has been a member of the Tax Advisory Committee (TAC) "Think-Tank" Group for the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Chairman of the National Tax Policy Review Committee (NTPRC), and Chairman of the National Tax Policy Implementation Committee (NTPIC). He has also been a member of the Federal Government Fiscal Reform Committee and Tax
Advisory Committee, playing a key role in shaping tax policies and annual Finance Acts.
Beyond his professional achievements, Abiola Sanni is committed to sound corporate governance and holds positions as Chairman of the Board of Directors in several companies. Prof. Lukumon Adeoti

Prof. Lukumon Adeoti

Lukumon Adeoti, Ph.D. is a Professor of Applied Geophysics with bias in Petroleum, Groundwater, Environmental, Engineering, Forensic, Agricultural, and Mining Activities. He is a staff of the Department of Geosciences, Faculty of Science, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos. He has more than twenty years of working experience in both the public and private sectors. He has more than 70 publications in both national and international journals. He is a consultant to several Oil and Gas Companies. He has supervised successfully several BSc, MSc, and Ph. D. students who are now captains of the industries and renowned academicians in national and foreign Universities. He is a member of various academic and professional organisations such as American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Society of Exploration Geophysicist (SEG), Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), National Association Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Council Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG), Society of Petrophysicists and Well Logging Analysts (SPWLA), Nigerian Environment Society (NES), Nigerian Geophysical Union(NGU), Nigerian Association of Exploration Geophysicist (NAEG) and Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Oil and Gas Research (FIOGR). He has presented his technical and research findings at various conferences mostly in the US, South Africa, Spain, Dubai, Nigeria, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia etc. He used to be a Regional Expert on Toolkit Training Applications to United Nations Industrial Development Organizations (UNIDO).
Prof. Adeoti has won many awards and honours. He has partaken in more than two hundred (200) Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) consultancy projects for many companies in Nigeria. He is the lead in  Domestication of Building Codes in LAGOS.

Prof. Sunday Adebisi

Enterpreneurship
Professor Sunday Abayomi Adebisi

Professor Sunday Abayomi Adebisi is a Professor of Entrepreneurship Hub and Strategic Management in the Department of Business Administration., University of Lagos, Nigeria. His research interests span through Entrepreneurship Hub Management, Innovation and Startup Enablement, Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Employment Strategies, International Entrepreneurship and Business, as well as Sustainable Strategic Management and Comparative Strategy.
Over time, he has risen organically through the ranks from the post of a Graduate Assistant to his present status of becoming a double Professor in the Department of Business Administration,
University of Lagos. He recently emerged as the First Occupier-Professor of the Dr. Mike Adenuga (Jnr) Professorial Chair in Entrepreneurial Studies, the first of its kind in any Nigerian University, and also serves as the Director, of the Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre, University of Lagos, Nigeria in the last five years. This is in addition to the role he plays as Director, of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) Centre of Excellence for Unemployment and Skills Development (ARUA, CoE-USD) having won the hosting right for the center of excellence in 2019, thereby, making the University of Lagos to emerge as a Leader and Hub for research in Youth Unemployment and Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Africa. As a Director of the ARUA-CoE-USD, he was saddled with the task of implementing the Partnership, Research and Capacity Building for Youth Unemployment Solutions in Africa (PRAC-4-YUSA), a UKRI￾GCRF ARUA Capacity Building project supported with a Grant of GBP600, 000. The project, almost nearing completion, has made a
remarkable impact in creating sustainable solutions to the menace of youth unemployment in the Continent of Africa.
Professor ADEBISI has also led several innovative projects and research at the local and global stage. He was the Lead Researcher (Rocket Data Star) of the Regional Entrepreneurship Accelerated Program (REAP); an Entrepreneurship project of the University of Lagos in partnership with MIT, United States of America. He has about 50 journal articles in revered academic journals across the world. He also served as Project Manager and Research Advisor for the $500,000 Commercial Pilot of M(E)thanol Clean Cookstoves Project of the Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) in Lagos, Nigeria, the first of its kind project in West Africa. He is a Scholar of the Soochow University China, and the 2014 British Academy of Management (BAM) Best Full Paper in Performance Management Award Winner. He also received the prestigious Award of the EFMD 2016 Best African Case in Berlin, Germany.

Prof. Franca Attoh

Professor Franca Attoh

Prof. Franca Attoh is a specialist in irregular migration, Crime and Delinquency, Gender studies, Sociology of the family, Social Change, and Culture and heritage. Prof. Franca Attoh had a decade of experience in the private sector prior to joining the services of the University of Lagos in 2007. She has 67 publications in both national and international Journals and has co-edited three textbooks in sociology and terrorism. Her research spans the areas of human trafficking, intra-African migration, and spatial incidences of crime in-built and external environments. Prof. Attoh is a laureate of the Ford Foundation and CODESRIA in Dakar Senegal. She is an alumnus of the CODESRIA Gender
Institute, a member of the ASIS research committee, and a fellow of the Institute of Security Nigeria.
She has extensive experience in research and consultancy and has consulted for several organizations including the Early Warning System in ECOWAS, the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the National Agency for the Prohibition of Human Trafficking and other related matters (NAPTIP), National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
She is currently a Professor in the Department of Sociology, University of Lagos, and the Ag. Head, Department of Sociology, University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Prof. Attoh pioneered the very essence of interdisciplinarity in her Department even as a junior faculty through her collaborations with Professor Olatunde Makanju, a psychologist, and former Dean Faculty of Social Sciences. She has collaborated and co-authored peer-reviewed articles with colleagues in Political Science, Economics and Social work. She is currently partnering with two colleagues in Engineering on a RESBEN Project on Urban Water Pollution.
Prof. Attoh's foray into the field of research has seen her working with colleagues at the University of Texas in Austin, and the University of Bayreuth in Germany which funded her recently concluded research on Migration and Xenophobia: Imperatives for African Integration. The need for internationalization of knowledge and co-creation of knowledge culminated in her working with colleagues at Joseph Kizebo University in Ouagadougou on terrorism in West Africa.
Prof. Franca Attoh, a former Editor of “Construction in Nigeria” has wide networks in the media space to aid the dissemination of research results with the hope that such would engender policy to create a better space for humanity.

Prof. Osipitan obtained his LLB Degree (Hons) from the prestigious University of Lagos in 1980, followed by his successful completion of the Nigerian Law School. He emerged as the Best Student in Civil Procedure during the 1981 Nigerian Law School Bar Final Examination, earning him the prestigious Hon. Justice Somolu Memorial Prize. Having joined the University of Lagos as a lecturer in 1983, Prof. Osipitan has since risen through the ranks, holding positions such as Head of Department of Public Law and Professor of Public Law. Professor of Law conferred by the University of Lagos in 2018.
Prof. Osipitan's expertise spans various areas of law, including Constitutional Law, Law of Evidence, Criminal Law, Comparative Criminal Law, and Comparative Constitutional Law. His contributions to legal scholarship are reflected in his extensive publication record, with over 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in scholarly books.
In addition to his academic achievements, Prof. Osipitan has made significant contributions outside the university community. He has served as Special Adviser on Constitutional and Legal Matters to the Chief of General Staff and Chairman of the Provisional Ruling Council of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. His commitment to the legal profession led to his appointment as Senior Advocate of Nigeria, the highest recognition for legal practitioners in Nigeria.
Prof. Osipitan is the chairman of Unilag Consult's board of Directors, his appointment as a member of the Governing Council of Tai Solarin University of Education further highlights his influence and expertise in the field of education.

Prof. Mike Adebamawo

Prof. Mike Adebama

Professor Mike Adebamowo is the Executive Director of the University of Lagos Business School, a seasoned architect, and a Professor of  Architecture with specialization in sustainable architecture, thermal comfort, and energy use in buildings. 
He has served the University in various capacities- as Head, of the Department of Architecture; Dean, of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and is currently a member of the University Council
representing the Congregation.
The erudite scholar has over 40 publications in National and International Journals; one of his publications won the best paper award of Emerald in 2018.
As a Consulting Architect, he has designed and supervised several building projects of various building types including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Religious, and Institutional:- notable
among these are the Golden Park Estate in Lekki, remodelling of the Faculty of Arts Building, Unilag; Martinos Event Centre; R&A City Hotel Ikeja; The Summit Auditorium; Multi-Storey Car Park for Island Club; The Citadel Church Building and the Redeemers Health Village. All these projects have a positive impact on the environment.
He is a member of the Network for Comfort and Energy Use in Buildings (NCEUB) UK, a member American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), a Fellow of
the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Mitigation (SETPOM) and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). He has supervised over 300 Master and 13 Ph.D. Students
successfully managed research grants.

Prof. Efe Ikponmwosa

Structural Engineering
Prof. Efe Ewaen Ikponmwosa

Prof. Ikponmwosa, Efe Ewaen was born on the 24th of January 1958 at Ebute Metta, Lagos State, Nigeria. He is from Uhunmwonde Local Government area of Edo State and attended Immaculate Conception College (Also formerly known as Bishop Kelly College), Benin City, Edo State.
Prof. Ikponmwosa, Efe Ewaen passed out of secondary school in 1975 with a grade one result in his West African School Certificate Examination. Between 1978 and 1981, he attended Yaba College of
Technology for certification in Building Construction. At the college, he earned the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) certificate in Building in 1980. After the completion of the Higher National
Diploma 1 (HND 1) course works in 1981, he was awarded a Federal Government Scholarship for further studies.
Prof. Ikponmwosa, Efe bagged his first and second degrees in industrial and Civil Engineering in 1986 and 1987 respectively at the Kiev State Civil Engineering Institute, Kiev, Ukraine in the former USSR. He was awarded a Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Engineering Construction (Buildings & Structures) from the same institution in 1992. Prof. Ikponmwosa, Efe has a Teachers' certificate in Russian language which he earned in 1987.
Prof. Ikponmwosa, Efe Ewaen started his professional career first as a Builder between 1980 and 1981 engaged as an Assistant Technical Officer at B.C.O., Federal Ministry of Works, Lagos. He later continued his professional career as an Engineer after graduation from university.
Ikponmwosa worked in the private sector between 1993 and 1999. He joined the services of the University of Lagos in 1999 as Lecturer II and rose steadily to the posts of Lecturer I and Senior Lecturer in 2002, and 2008 respectively. He was appointed an Associate Professor at the University in 2011 and Professor in 2017.
Professor Ikponmwosa has held/worked in various academic, administrative, and professional positions at the University and beyond. Prof. Folorunsho Ogunwolu

Prof. Folorunso Oladimeji Ogunwolu

OGUNWOLU, Folorunso Oladimeji, is a Professor of Industrial Logistics and Management Systems Engineering at the Department of Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. He obtained B.Sc.(Mathematics), M.Sc. (Engineering Analysis) and Ph.D. (Systems Engineering) from the University of Lagos as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). Professor Ogunwolu specializes in use of Operations Research in Optimization of Strategic Planning, Operations and Control of Transportation, Industrial and Management Systems; Modeling and Simulation of Traffic/Transport, Telecommunications, Waste Management and Intelligent Transport and Industrial Systems. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Operations Research, Nigeria (FIOR), Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), a Registered Engineer (COREN) and a Member of the Institute of Operations Research and Management Science (MIORMS). Professor Ogunwolu has coordinated and participated in planning and conceptual designs of a number of landmark projects in Lagos, Nigeria including the Lagos Urban transportation Plan: Opebi-Mende Link to Third Mainland Bridge, Traffic System Measures (TSM) for Junctions in Lagos, Study on the Establishment of LAGBUS, Lagos Master Plan
Transport Surveys, the New Lagos – Badagry Expressway, Lagos Monorail, Lekki – Epe Expressway, Berger-Isawo-Ita Oluwo road and Development of Lagos Traffic Operations Manual among others. He is well published with more than 35 papers in academic journals and 25 in Conference proceedings.

Prof. Muhammed Amuda

Prof. Muhammed Olawale Hakeem Amuda

Muhammed Olawale Hakeem Amuda is a Professor of Welding Process Analysis and Surface Modification at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering,
University of Lagos. He is also a materials development and processing consultant with expertise in reverse engineering, failure analysis, and materials selection for service. He is an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, University of Lagos, and holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the International Islamic University in Malaysia. Prof. Amuda is a COREN Registered Engineer and a member of several professional bodies including the American Welding Society, The Materials Society, and the American Ceramic Society. He was the pioneer Head of the Innovation Unit, University of Lagos where he built the innovation ecosystem in the University, resulting in the filing of the first-ever institutional patents for the University 19 of them. He was also a one-time, Head, of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, at the University of Lagos and a Council Member, of the Governing Board of the African Network of Scientific and Technical Institutions (ANSTI), a UNESCO-supported organization comprising more than 200 institutions in Africa running Science, Engineering and Technological programmes. He isp the Convener and Team Lead, of the Materials Development and Processing Research Group(MADEPREG), University of Lagos, whose focus is to conduct developmental research into
all aspects of materials development and processing. Prof. Amuda whose research interest covers materials development, stainless steels as energy materials, reverse engineering, and materials selection, particularly the innovative deployment of substitute materials to address cost and availability is a member of the Governing Board of the African Network of Scientific and Technical
Institutions (ANSTI). He is a promoter of social enterprise anchored on community ownership to build wealth and generate societal prosperity.

Dr. Ayotunde Adebayo

Dr. Ayotunde Adebayo

Ayotunde Adebayo has almost four decades of experience in workforce development. He is versed in using and optimizing computing tools in training sessions. He is a Certified Customer Service Strategy Consultant focusing on organizational development and Action Learning. He has trained extensively in IT, biometrics, due diligence, HR Best practices, performance management, governance, marketing, leadership, sales, strategy, and business management. He has attended workshops in several countries in Europe and Africa/Middle East. He has led, developed, and delivered several training courses covering ICT, leadership, marketing, sales, customer care, branding, teamwork, and organizational efficiency. He has published several articles in business and academic journals.
Ayotunde has a Ph.D. and he is currently the Head of the Department of Arts Education, at the University of Lagos.

Dr. Shadare Oluseyi

Dr. Shadare Oluseyi A.

Shadare, Oluseyi A. holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Industrial Relations degrees from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He earned his Ph.D. from the same University with specialisation
in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Lagos. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006. Seyi is currently a faculty member of the Department of Employment Relations and Human Resource Management, and the University of Lagos Business School, Nigeria. Dr. Shadare has over 18 years of experience in the financial services sector and resigned as a Director from Industrial & General Insurance Plc in 2010.
He has extensive experience in the field of Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Insurance Marketing, Labour Law & Public Policy. He teaches at the undergraduate, graduate,
and executive levels at the University of Lagos. His research interests are Social Policy (Social Protection), Human Resource Management, and Employment Relations. He has also published
several articles, book chapters, and conference papers on diverse topics. He is an Associate Member of several professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN), and the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (CIMN) and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). He was an Assistant Coordinator of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, at the University of Lagos between 2012 and 2015, and also  coordinated the M.Sc, MILR, and MELS programmes of his department from 2016- 2018. He has also supervised over 100 postgraduate students, including 2 PhD theses. He is an Associate Professor and was the Acting Head of the Department of Employment Relations and Human Resource
Management between 2019 and 2021. He is also an associate lecturer/ External examiner at many universities in Nigeria. Dr. Seyi
Shadare is a Director in some blue chip companies in Nigeria, and he is happily married with children.

Dr. Michael Kunnuji

Dr. Michael Olaoluwa Nunayon Kunnuji

Michael Olaoluwa Nunayon Kunnuji, Associate Professor, Sociology Department, University of Lagos, is a sociologist with research interests in population studies in general, and human sexuality, adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, domestic violence, social exclusion, humanitarian contexts, child health and health systems, global health and public policies in particular. His research is focused on understanding social contexts of youth and adolescent sexuality, health systems and healthcare delivery, global health research and practice, and similar subjects in Nigeria and Africa at large. He has led several studies in Nigeria and across African countries. His research is geared toward addressing social problems.
In 2019/2020, he led Nigeria's first qualitative Verbal and Social Autopsy of under-five deaths as a member of the USAID Coordinating Implementation Research to Communicate Learning and Evidence (CIRCLE) project team, in collaboration with Nigeria's National Population Commission, the Federal Ministry of Health and other relevant agencies. He has also led research projects with
and on behalf of several local and international organizations like Action Health Incorporated, the Population Council, UNFPA, the Institute of Development Studies (UK), inter alia. He is exceptionally skilled in the management of quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate applications like STATA, SPSS, NVivo, Dedoose, Kobotoolbox etc. He has excellent communication
skills and outstanding leadership qualities. His research works are published in several peer-reviewed international journals.

Dr. Chika Yinka-Banjo

Dr. Chika Yinka-Banjo

Chika is an experienced and result-oriented Computer Scientist with a flair for Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Science, and Entrepreneurship. As the Coordinator of the University of Lagos AI & Robotics Laboratory (AIRLAB), she is passionate about impacting her communities with creative and innovative projects that tremendously affect lives. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science (UCT, SA), Chika has developed models with machine learning techniques, one of which was to guide robots in a pre-entry safety inspection in the underground mines. She is extremely enthusiastic about and involved in applying Machine learning algorithms to numerous areas. Dr. Yinka-Banjo is a recipient of the One Year Study Award (Mathematical Sciences) at African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), Stellenbosch University, Cape Town, South Africa (2009), L'Oreal-Unesco Fellowship for Women in Science (2013 fellow for Sub-Saharan Africa), and a three-year Ph.D. (Computer Science) scholarship, from the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) (August 2011 – July 2014). She is also a recipient of the (AIMS) Alumni Small Research Grant from AIMS South Africa and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Canada. She is one of the two hundred
most qualified young researchers to have been selected by the Scientific Committee of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation (HLFF) worldwide, to participate in the Heidelberg
Laureate Forum, Germany, 2018. She concluded a research program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA in 2019. Dr. Yinka-Banjo is a member of several learned and professional organizations and has mentored many undergraduate and postgraduate students.

As the current Director of NITDA IT Hub (NITHUB) at the prestigious University of Lagos, he has created a thriving technology ecosystem that brings together academia, industries, entrepreneurs, start-ups and investors. By formulating cutting-edge strategies for product development, innovation, and growth, he has positioned the hub as a dynamic center of technological advancements.
In his previous role as the CITS Director (CTO) at the University of Lagos, he spearheaded digital transformation initiatives that optimized operational efficiency and drove innovation across the
institution. By revamping the e-infrastructure, expanding e-services, and architecting innovative solutions, he ensured seamless business continuity and positioned the university as a leader in the ICT space.

Dr. Victor Odumuyiwa is a member of the Advisory Board of Data Science Nigeria. He is a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and also a member of the Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN). He is an IBM-certified security intelligence analyst, application security analyst, and IOT cloud developer. He is also a member of the Global EPIC eco-system centered on innovation and cyber security. He develops responsible Artificial Intelligence for Natural Language Processing with applications in sentiment analysis, recommender systems, log mining, cyber security,

Dr. Taofik Salau

Taofik Salau (Ph.D.) is an urban planning specialist with a focus on urban transportation and institutional planning. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Lagos He has his first degree in Urban and Regional Planning (Second Class Honours, Upper Division) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1991; Master of Science degree in 1997 in Transportation Studies from Ogun State (Olabisi Onabanjo)
University, Ago-Iwoye; Master of Science degree in 2006 in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Ibadan, Ibadan; and a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning also from the University of Ibadan in 2015. He is a senior lecturer at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Lagos, and has many publications in learned journals. Salau is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) and is a Registered Town Planner with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC).
Dr. Salau is a project director with MasterPlan Consult (a firm of registered urban planners) and has been involved with several planning projects, some of which are the preparation of
masterplans for Nigerian Army University, Biu, Borno State, Admiralty University, Ibusa, and Sapele Campuses, Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna, Federal University Otuoke, ANAN
University, Jos, Plateau State, Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, and Federal University of Technology, Babura, Jigawa State, among others.
He has also been involved in such other planning projects as Ogun State Regional Master Plan (2007), Agege Model City Plan, Kosofe Model City Plan, and Sapphire Gardens, Ahoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, among others

Dr. Shakirudeen Odunuga

Dr Shakirudeen ODUNUGA is a Geographer and Safeguards specialist with academic and research interests centered on Flood and Erosion Modelling, Watershed Management Plan, Coastal Dynamics and Climate Change Issues. He has prepared over 50 safeguards instrument for developmental projects supported by Bilateral/multilateral donor organizations including the World Bank, Africa Development Bank and European Investment Bank across different sectors of the Nigeria economy (Manufacturing, Agriculture, Environment, Water Resource, Energy, Transportation and Mining).
He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) degree and PhD from the University of Lagos. He has received several trainings on Environmental and Earth Processes modelling amongst which include;

i) Oceanographic
Data Analysis (Africa Partnership Station) U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. Naval Forces.

ii) Data and Model Integration for Coupled Models of Land Use Change, the Macaulay Institute,
Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.

iii) Climate Modelling and its Applications for Sustainable Development, Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and iv) Meteorology and Climate Science Training, World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Regional Training Centre, Lagos, Nigeria. 2022.

He is a fellow of Systems for Analysis, Research and Training (START) and a fellow of the African Climate Change Fellowship Programme ACCFP. Dr Odunuga has won many research grants and served as Principal Investigator as well as Co-Investigator on many multidisciplinary research projects. Dr Odunuga is a member of the Nigeria National Committee on UNESCO Intergovernmental
Hydrologic Programme (NNC- UNESCO-IHP) (2021-Date); Member Cross-Sectoral Thematic Working Groups (CTWG: Hydrological system, river, climate risk and water-food-energy nexus, UNESCO-IHP IX strategic plan implementation (2022-date); Member National Technical Committee of the Federal Ministry of Water Resources on Nigeria Annual Flood Outlook AFO (2013 –Date);
Member Steering Committee for the Preparation of WHO-Sanitation Safety Plan (SSP), Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission. He is the current Vice President II, Nigeria Association of Hydrological Sciences and a member of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences.
